Sponsorship Programs
Sponsor a Child
Child sponsorship is essential to ensure that each child's basic education, health care and living needs are met.
Each child will only be sponsored by one person or family and regular updates on the child's progress will be sent to you from the Executive Director, At least once a year you will receive a report on the child's development, a photo and season's greetings card.
If you wish to have further involvement with the child, visits, correspondence etc it can be arranged, but is done so at your personal cost. Sponsoring a child is a very worthwhile cause and assists the child's future.
Sponsor a Doctor/ Nurse/ House mother
Since St.Lucia Nursing Home and Orphanage admits children who are HIV positive, a Doctor and Nurse who come for regular weekly visits are very important people to ensure proper usage of drugs at the home, provide comprehensive nursing care to the patients, refer children or patient for hospitalization when needed, and ensure outpatient visits are attended to. Your Sponsorship of this program would cover the hours required for the Doctor and Nurse.
Sponsor a Teacher
Education is imperative in strengthening Tanzania's future. To maintain high standards of teaching in both English and Swahili St.Lucia Nursing Home and Orphanage have promised to employ the best teacher available. To sponsor a teacher or class environment would ensure our students receive the best education possible.
Sponsor a Farmer
Growing of vegetables and food, animals rearing will in future enhance reduction of food cost and ensure children and patient have quality food grown at the centre.
