2002 - St. Lucia Nursing Home founded by Winfrida Wmwashala, RN.
2005 - Grant received from International Council on Management of Population Programs (ICOMP) and the Government of Tanzania through TACAIDS.
2006 - St Lucia Nursing Home facility built and furnished with the assistance of Karma Connection, USA.
2007 - St Lucia Hospice and Orphanage Grand Opening, attended by the first lady of Tanzania mama Salma Kikwete. with many vistors and dignataries. Website created to facilitate international awareness.
2008 - Winfrida Mwashala facilitating a presentation to the World Aids Conference in Mexico City.
2009 - Once ill children are now doing very well (John Bosco) and are enrolling at Baraa Primary School.
